(This little almost 3 year old has a love affair with playing with ropes....you should have seen his face light up when he found a dried long vine root. In the last year he has taught himself the skill of wrapping up a rope....perfectly!).
September is the month for many birthdays in our extended family!
We decided this year to make Hal and his twin brother a terrarium, found via here. It was one of those projects I absolutley loved doing and found myself placing each rock through the small hole with a pair of chopsticks (Mr Miyagi style)....that lasted a few minutes then I sort of threw them in!
Yesterday we headed to the beach for a birthday picnic.
We played ball, we swam, there were tears when sand got in eyes, and there was lots of laughter and sunkissed faces on our return home.
We all loved every minute and the kids commented on how clean the beach was after being in Bali !!! It was our first swim in Australia in a year and it was crystal clear, cool and perfect!!
